The Staff at the Maple Avenue Office

I would like to introduce my staff When you have reason to call or visit my office, the first group of people you will meet is my staff. It seemed like a good idea to explain who they are and what they look like - so our patients can relate to them quickly from the very beginning. I am very proud of my staff, all of whom have been with me for many years. Whether calling for an appointment; having blood drawn and tests run; coming in for interim examinations, to have questions answered, or "shots" given; undergoing ultrasounds to look at the results of treatment or the growth of an early pregnancy; asking for help with an insurance issue or clarifying bill entries - all patients want to deal with a kind caring person. Trying to succeed in a much wanted pregnancy - has to be among the most stressful situations a woman can face. During it - you need to be among friends. This is the role my staff fulfills so well. Let me introduce them in the order you might meet them when coming to our office. I will include a brief description of their areas of expertise. Dr. Stangel

Anne Office Manager and Administrative Assistant Has worked with Dr. Stangel since 1994. Responsible for reception, patient communication, and managing medical records.

Lisa Receptionist Responsible for patient records, appointments, patient charts and patient communication. .

Rose Ann Administrative Assistant

Audrey Medical Assistant and Phlebotomist Has worked with Dr. Stangel since 1996. Her previous work experience included working in an IVF setting.

Ronnie Medical Assistant and Phlebotomist Has worked with Dr. Stangel since 1992 in infertility studies. .

Amy Physician Assistant Has worked in Women's Health since she became a Physician Assistant in 1994. Prior to receiving her Bachelor's Degree from the PA Program at SUNY Stony Brook, she worked as a Registered Nurse for 10 years. Amy has been working with Dr. Stangel since February 2002.

Lisa (not pictured) Registered Nurse Her previous experience has been in high risk OB, Labor and Delivery, School Nurse and IVF.

	Cheryl RDMS, Ultrasound technician Has specialized in Infertility related ultrasounds, and has worked with Dr. Stangel since 1987.	Carol RDMS, Ultrasound technician Has specialized in Infertility related ultrasounds, and has worked with Dr. Stangel since 1985.
		Cathy (not pictured) RDMS, Ultrasound technician, Medical Asst. and Phlebotomist She has worked with Dr. Stangel since 1988.

Patti Insurance Specialist Liaison between office and insurance companies. Responsible for follow-up reimbursements and is an assistant in Bookkeeping.

Genny Bookkeeping Has had experience since 1970 in all phases of medical billing, insurance and managed care.
